Designer Roy Kesrouani takes conventional things and makes them as unconventional as possible. Take the spooning armchair, a design he came up with in 2010, for instance. An arrangement of nine identical triangular pieces that are collapsable, the armchairs are built in Kesrouani’s studio in Los Angeles. “For me, it is all about changing the archetype of furniture,” Kesrouani said. “My goal is to take something simple and give it a twist, to make it almost unrecognizable to the naked eye.” Read more here...
